Road Shows in North Carolina and West Virginia

Posted in Lou's Blog by Administrator on the December 17th, 2009

OK, OK So things are slowing down a bit in Pigeon Forge. The year is winding down and there’s a lot of shopping going on but not too much show watching. That’s normal for this time of year. We’ll have a final burst the week before New Years Eve and a pretty good turn out for the Elvis Birthday show but then all dies down in Pigeon Forge…But guess what? We have a couple of road shows scheduled. The weekend of Elvis’ birthday, January 8th and 9th.
On Friday, January 8th I, along with what I am calling The Good Rockin’ Show Band, will be appearing at The Ashville Community Theatre in Ashville, North Carolina. Tickets do not go on sale for another week so they are not available yet. As a matter of fact, if you call too early, the folks who answer the telephone may not know anything about it yet, so please hold off calling until I let you know. When tickets do go on sale there will be a bit of a discount if you purchase them before the day of the show. Next week I will post on my web site the day they are available. The phone # there is 1-828-254-1320.
Then on Saturday January 9th, we will be at The Bluefield High School Auditorium in Bluefield, West Virginia. Tickets for that show are available right now and you can purchase tickets by calling 1-800-763-2459.
Of course, after that we have a private show in Florida before we get on the Cruise. I hope to see you sometime in January and I trust all is well with you and your family.
Thank you for all of your love and support and Happy Holidays!
Love,
Lou

    Hey Lou,
My Mom, Aunt, & I enjoyed the New Years Eve show. It was a lot of fun. Wish we could have made it to the birthday celebration show also. I won 2 tickets & hope 2 be back in the spring. I came to 3 shows in 2009. That makes a total of 7 times that I’ve been. I hope you are well. I thought I heard you say you couldn’t get your breath, if so I hope you are felling better now.My mom had pneumonia once but didn’t realize it because she wasn’t coughing. Hey, maybe I’ll make it up there 4 times this year.I’m planning on joining your fan club.
Have a safe & happy new year. You’re the best!
    Love,Debra

Hi Lou, wondering if the shows went off as scheduled with all the bad weather the country has been having this week? i have hibernated here on top of my little mountain in Indiana. My van does not go in the snow. We got about 6 inches and it is still snowing. Next week is supposed to be better. Hope you have a great cruise. Stay safe . Lou, I thoroughly enjoyed the concert in Asheville on the 8th. I didn’t get to come to the fan club picnic in October or the New Years Eve show. I am still recovering from surgery. You were fantastic as usual. I wish I had known about it sooner and I could have gotten word out that you were coming. I hope you will come again. Hope to see you in Pigeon Forge in May (sooner) if possible. Amber and Hayley didn’t get to come the other night, but they will be with me in May. Have a great cruise. I hope the weather is better on the cruise than it was here!!!!! Love ya< Lynn Hughes
