Not too long ago the date was set for this years Elvis Festival, something we've done every year.  If you've never been to one, it's an all Elvis show on a Sunday afternoon in August. This year it will be on Sunday August 17, 2008 at 3:00 PM.  You may want to call the theatre as soon as possible if you want to be close to the front. These seats go fast. As a matter of fact many times we sell out on these shows. They're always so much fun.  We've been doing shows on Friday and Saturday evenings but starting March 18th we'll begin four nights a week, Tues, Thurs, Fri and Saturday.  We're going to this schedule earlier than usual this year. Normally we wait until April for 4 nights a week but it seems as though each year the tourist season begins earlier.  Other than that remember our Fan Club Picnic is scheduled for Saturday May 24th from 1:00-4:00 at the Patriot Park Shelter, which is near The Old Mill.  That is also Memorial Day weekend so we will have a Sunday show as well if you'd like to stay. I guess that's all for now. Hello.   I hope this finds you well. I am using a new and seemingly a better format for my letter.  This new format will allow me to add a letter without erasing the previous letters which I like. All is well here in Pigeon Forge.  Alot of folks have been asking about the cruise and how that was and I have to tell you it was fantastic.  What a vacation and a great time we had.  The islands are nice but by now we've seen them all.  I enjoy just being away on the ship where they wait on you hand and foot.  As you may know, we do two shows during the week as well as a party f0r our group.  The shows are always fun but I am thinking that next year we may invite some of the other tribute acts like The Blues Brothers and so on.  I think that would add to the fun.  The shows now are going well.  The weather seems to be unseasonably warm here which has brought a lot more people in town than usual. I hope you can come visit soon but until then take care of yourself.  If nothing else, for those of you fan club members, our semi annual picnic is Memorial Day weekend this year.  I hope to see you there.  Thanks for listening and God bless you!    Lou
